HTC has launched Vive tracker bundles
By attaching the tracker to an object you can enjoy full-blown Virtual experience
For the first time, HTC has launched Vive tracker bundles for consumers.
The Vive trackers is a small and compact interchangeable motion tracking accessory that can attach to an object in real life and it works with the HTC Vive VR headset.
The tracker creates a wireless connection between the object and the headset, which enables the player to use the object in the virtual world.
You can also connect the tracker to a DSLR camera to create a create mixed reality videos.
In a statement GM of the US at Vive said:
With Vive Tracker, we’ve already seen the tremendous tools and experiences that the development community has created and unleashed into VR.
The Vive Tracker opens up a whole new set of experiences that can take advantage of full body tracking and a number of peripherals that set VR experiences on Vive apart.”
There are numbers of third-party hardware and software that are compatible with the tracking device.
HTC Vive tracker bundles are available on pre-order from November 16th.
The accessory bundles include:
- Hyper Blaster gun
- Tracker with Duck Season
And Racket Sports set, which comes with:
- Custom molded and weighted rackets
- Tracker with virtual sports
The both Hyper Blaster gun & tracker and Racket Sports Set are available for $149.99 each.
The Hyper Blaster and Racket set works with six different titles.
To enable full-body VR tracking, for instance in the dancing game, you have to attach TrackStrap to feet, wrists, hip, or legs.
The TrackStraps’ pair will $24.99 and it has redemption code for Redfood Bluefoot Dancing on Steam.
