SoftBank has released a video of Atlas expertly executing a backflip
Boston Dynamics’ Atlas Robot can now do backflips and jump over the blocks now.
The pioneering robotics company, Boston Dynamics was recently sold to SoftBank by Google’s parent company Alphabet.
SoftBank has unveiled a video of Atlas executing backflips with ultimate perfection and performing gymnastics moves with ease.
The root can hop up straight and stabilize itself on a platform and then jump, as it is fluid than ever.
The best thing about of Altas’s moves is that while backflipping off a block, it sticks to its landing like a pro.
And then it does a little arm raise.
Boston Dynamics has already explained the technology on which this robot operates:
Atlas Robot is engineered with sensors in its body and legs to balance and Light Detection And Ranging.
While it uses the stereo sensors in its head:
- To avoid obstacles
- To access the terrain
- To help with navigation and manipulate objects.
